Automation Expertise

·         Responsible for planning and conducting Automated Functionality Testing. 

·         Creates, maintains and troubleshoots script functionality.  Executes test as needed.

·         Responsible for providing effort estimates as well as maintaining documentation pertaining to scripting and testing.

Our Position: Identity Management developers for the delivery of Client portal and security solutions, including, evaluation and assessment of new projects, change controls and defects. Provide leadership and management of project teams on making architectural decisions to meet business requirements and best use of Client Core Products. Qualifications:

·         The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of portal and security solutions. They must be able to Lead design, develop and assist with performance tuning, and understand capacity planning for large scale portal solutions ·         The candidate must have experience leading a team of developers, consultants and quality assurance to deliver solutions ·         The candidate should have the ability to convert business requirements into functional specifications, technical design and provide estimation of work to be performed ·         Strong leadership and team management attributes ·         Strong problem solving and written and verbal communications skills, with proven ability to work directly with customers at both the technical and business level. ·         Application delivery in the J2EE model, including but not limited to, XML, web services, WS-*, SAML, portlet (JSR-286 and JSR-168) and associated technologies. Our client is a highly regarded company in the financial services.

 

Title: Sr. Build Release Engineer

Location: Boston, MA

Type:  6 months (Extendable)

 

Keys to the Position:

A minimum of 2 years in a release engineering or equivalent role supporting a Java EE, Spring- based architecture or C# environment. This is a Must

Strong knowledge and experience with of Continuous Integration and Deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.) We are currently working with Jenkins so that would be the preference

Proven experience managing multiple ongoing releases and environments. They need to have experience managing complex release schedules as this is for the Trading Team.

Strong knowledge and experience with source code control tools (e.g., GIT, Accurev(preferred), SVN). We are currently working with Accurev so this would be the preference. Source Code Control experience is a must. Candidates with Accurev experience would be given preference

Build Tool experience - Maven and MS Build is a big plus.

Experience with Oracle database and pl/sql is a big plus.

Proficient with Unix/Linux based systems and scripting languages such as Perl or Ruby. Any scripting language will suffice

This candidate needs to be proactive in troubleshooting, identifying what needs to improve and be able to collaborate with other groups

Candidate needs to have initiative and take ownership of their work on a daily basis and be able to work in a fast paced, friendly, collaborative environment.

This role will require the person to work potentially every other Fridays for the releases that typically take place from 6-9pm (they will potentially be able to do this from home)

 Specific requirements include, in order of importance:
